Today, petrol and diesel prices have remained the same. The prices for petrol and diesel in different cities are as follows: in Delhi, petrol costs Rs. 96.72 per litre and diesel costs Rs. 89.62 per litre; in Hyderabad, petrol costs Rs. 109.66 per litre and diesel costs Rs. 97.82 per litre; in Chennai, petrol costs Rs. 102.65 per litre and diesel costs Rs. 94.24 per litre; in Mumbai, petrol costs Rs. 106.31 per litre and diesel costs Rs. 97,28 per litre; and in Bangalore, petrol costs Rs. 101.94 per litre and diesel costs Rs. 87.89 per litre.

India mostly relies on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel, so the prices of crude oil can affect the rates of petrol and diesel. Other factors like increasing demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio can also have an impact on domestic fuel prices.
