Traffic authorities have announced a one-way traffic trial around the KBR Park area in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills this Sunday between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The temporary measure is being implemented due to ongoing construction work on a steel flyover and underpass under the H-CITI project. The trial aims to manage congestion and ensure safety for commuters during the construction period.

Commuters traveling from NFCL towards Jubilee Hills and KBR Park will need to follow a specific diversion route. Motorists are advised to take a left turn at NTR Bhavan and proceed via Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Agrasen Island, and Omega Hospital. The route then continues towards Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills Check Post, Cable Bridge, and IKEA.

The H-CITI project involves the construction of modern infrastructure including steel flyovers and underpasses designed to improve long-term traffic management in the area. The project aims to facilitate smoother movement and reduce congestion around the busy KBR Park zone, which witnesses heavy traffic throughout the day, especially during peak hours and weekends.

Commuters are advised to plan their travel in advance and allocate extra time for their journeys on Sunday between the specified hours. Authorities have stated that these measures are essential for improving long-term infrastructure and will ultimately benefit daily commuters once the construction work is completed. Motorists can expect changes in normal traffic flow during this period and should remain alert to traffic instructions.
