Telangana IT and Industry and Municipal Administration and Urban Development minister, KT Rama Rao, made some interesting political comments at the inauguration of a new steel bridge in Hyderabad. He stated that the opposition parties, Congress and BJP, have only seen trailers of the development happening in the state, but soon the full movie will be revealed. KTR emphasized that this is just the beginning of the development plans for the city and there are many more heights to be reached in the future.
The steel bridge is part of the Strategic Road Development Project and is the 20th flyover constructed in Hyderabad since Telangana became a state. KTR highlighted that the previous government neglected central Hyderabad, but Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has prioritized its development by improving infrastructure and installing India’s largest Dr BR Ambedkar statue. Plans to develop Indira Park and promote Tank Bund as a world-class tourist spot are also in progress.
The new steel bridge has been named after senior BRS leader and former Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy, according to KTR.
