A plane with around 170 people of Indian descent flew from Melbourne to Sydney to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi at an event. The Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation (IADF) organized the event in Sydney to honor Australia’s Indian community. Supporters of the Prime Minister named the plane “Modi Airways” and welcomed the passengers carrying tricolor-themed turbans and waving national flags.

The Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, and Prime Minister Modi will speak tomorrow in Sydney. They recently co-hosted the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) conference on Monday to promote interregional harmony. PM Modi departed from Japan where he attended three G7 summit sessions at the invitation of his Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida.
