The all-India Bazm-e-Rahmath-e-Alam committee on Milad-un-Nabi 2023 will give the ‘Rahmath-e-Alam Peace Award 2023’ to Pandit Sagar Tripathi, a peace activist and Urdu poet from Mumbai. He is being recognized for his efforts in promoting communal harmony in the country. The award ceremony will take place on September 28 at Khaja Mansion Function Hall in Masab Tank.
The Rahmath-e-Alam Peace Award is given each year to non-Muslim individuals who work towards improving the lives of the Muslim community. This committee has previously honored seven people with this award. The recipients are chosen based on their dedication to fostering communal harmony, universal brotherhood, and the integration of different religious traditions and cultures.
