Hyderabad: TPCC leader B Mahesh Kumar Goud has directed the disciplinary committee to send a show cause notice to Congress MLA Anirudh Reddy from Jadcherla for making controversial remarks.
Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed strong disapproval over Anirudh Reddy’s statements suggesting that ‘covert operatives’ linked to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu were active in Telangana.
“We are taking Anirudh Reddy’s comments seriously. Party members must adhere to discipline,” stated Mahesh Kumar Goud.
He emphasized that covert operatives could exist in any party. Claims should be based on solid evidence, he insisted. He warned that the party would not tolerate any breaches of discipline.
