Hyderabad: A Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister, urged party leaders to prepare for the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-elections.
In a meeting with the PCC’s extended executive, he anticipated significant political changes, such as delimitation, women’s reservation, and the possibility of synchronized elections nationwide.
He encouraged party members to connect with local communities, ensure welfare schemes are effectively implemented, and work together to secure another term for Congress in the state.
“The Congress will govern Telangana for the next decade. The 2029 elections should introduce new leaders. Those interested must start preparations now,” he emphasized.
The Chief Minister praised the achievements of the Congress government and shared his vision for the party’s growth in the state and beyond.
Revanth Reddy pointed out that under Congress, Telangana successfully urged the central government to include caste enumeration in the national census, a move towards social justice. “We have made significant strides in education, employment, and job creation. During my time as PCC chief, 45 lakh people joined as active members of the Congress party,” he stated.
