Hyderabad: On Friday, AICC chief Mallikarjuna Kharge issued a stern warning to Ministers and MLAs. He stated that strict measures would be taken against those who do not follow party rules.
At the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting, attended by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, and AICC incharge Meenakshi Natarajan, Kharge stressed the importance of discipline. He told ministers to focus on their work and avoid making divisive political statements.
Kharge emphasized that party members must act responsibly. He advised ministers to stay within their limits and not discuss matters outside their jurisdiction. Maintaining respect and avoiding harmful announcements is crucial, he added. The leadership will not hesitate to take action if these guidelines are violated.
Kharge assured that those who contribute will receive due recognition within the party.
He also reviewed complaints with Disciplinary Action Committee chairman Mallu Ravi in a separate session. Meanwhile, the PAC continued to examine issues reported from various Assembly constituencies.
