Wanaparthy District: Police intercepted illegal ganja transportation at the Pebbair bus stand. CI Rambabu of Pebbair Municipality led the operation after receiving a tip-off.
A bus from Hyderabad to Bangalore was carrying ganja. Sub-Inspector Yugandhar Reddy and his team acted swiftly and arrested a suspect at the bus stand. They discovered 4 kg of ganja in his bag.
The suspect, Mallesh Prabu, aged 25, from Bangalore, confessed. He revealed he and his friend Dilip Kali bought ganja from Mohan and Arjuna in Orissa. They intended to sell it in Bangalore for profit. Dilip Kali had exited the bus earlier due to work.
