Permission to Rythu Bandhu Withdrawn by ECI

Mr. Harish Rao, a star campaigner, violated the condition for granting permission to the ongoing Rythu Bandhu scheme. The Election Commission of India (ECI) noticed press statements where Harish Rao stated that Rythu Bandhu would be disbursed starting from December 28. However, the EC had already set a condition that no campaign should be conducted for the release of Rythu Bandhu during the election campaign.
