Hyderabad Launches 15-Day Cybercrime Awareness Campaign

The Hyderabad city police have launched a 15-day cybercrime awareness campaign to address the rising number of online frauds and digital threats. This initiative is designed to empower citizens with the knowledge to protect themselves in the digital age.

The campaign officially began on Wednesday at the ICCC Building and is being conducted in collaboration with Piramal Capital and Housing Finance Limited (Piramal Finance).

With the tagline “Sab Ki Neeyat Saaf Nahi Hoti,” the campaign includes street plays, or nukkad nataks, performed at crowded public places. These plays aim to engage and educate the public about cybercrime in an interactive and relatable manner.

To maximize visibility, banners, posters, and other communication materials have been strategically placed at key locations across the city. Additionally, the police are encouraging community participation through interactive sessions to raise awareness about online safety.

The campaign is also leveraging social media to reach a larger audience. Through creative digital outreach, the Hyderabad police aim to spread key messages and foster a safer online environment for all citizens.
