In Khammam, the local police celebrated a significant achievement as several officers received top honors for their exceptional work. The Telangana State Government awarded these officers prestigious police service medals during Telangana Formation Day 2024 and New Year 2025. These medals recognize their outstanding professionalism and dedication to public safety.
The awards ceremony took place at the Police Commissioner’s Office on Friday. Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt personally congratulated the officers and handed them their medals.
Among those honored, M. Abdul Rahiman (Assistant Commissioner of Police, Wyra) and P. Satyanarayana (Sub-Inspector, IT Core) were given the Uttama Seva Pathakam for their significant contributions to law enforcement and community service.
Four other officers were awarded the Seva Pathakam for their committed service. These officers are B. Venkata Ramana Rao (Assistant Sub-Inspector), J. Venkateswarlu (Assistant Sub-Inspector), and N. Venkata Reddy (Assistant Sub-Inspector).
Additionally, Sk. Syed Hussain, a Head Constable, received the Mahonnata Seva Pathakam for his outstanding performance.
Commissioner Sunil Dutt praised the awardees, noting that their dedication serves as a role model for the entire police department. He emphasized that their actions inspire younger officers to embody the principles of integrity, service, and discipline.
These awards not only celebrate the officers’ personal achievements but also showcase the commitment and efficiency of the Khammam Police Commissionerate in upholding law and order.
