Special drone teams have been deployed in Hyderabad to closely monitor the movement of people and Ganesh idol immersion during the idol procession routes. The drones are recording the procession and reviewing the crowd instantly to ensure safety measures are in place and prevent any untoward incidents.
To oversee security arrangements during Ganesh idol immersion, more than 25,000 police personnel have been deployed, including additional staff from other districts and allied branches. A total of 125 platoons are present to ensure the safety of the public.
The zonal Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) are working together to oversee the procession’s movement at critical junctions and provide guidance to subordinates and senior officers.
