Hyderabad: On Friday, the Hyderabad Traffic Police will implement traffic changes due to two major Congress party events. These events include the unveiling of a bronze statue of former Chief Minister Konijeti Rosaiah at Old PS Saifabad and a Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee meeting at LB Stadium.
Traffic heading from the Secretariat to Iqbal Minar will be redirected towards Ravindra Bharathi. Vehicles from Ravindra Bharathi must head to Telugu Talli Junction as there is no access to Old PS Saifabad. Traffic from Nirankari Junction to Old PS Saifabad will be rerouted towards Iqbal Minar and the Old Bridge Lakdikapul. Congestion is expected at Old PS Saifabad, Iqbal Minar, VV Statue, Masabtank Junction, Ravindra Bharathi, and Telugu Talli Junction.
For the meeting at LB Stadium, traffic will be halted or diverted from 1 PM to 8 PM as needed. Vehicles from AR Petrol Pump Junction (Public Gardens) to BJR Statue will be sent towards Nampally. Traffic from Basheerbagh to AR Petrol Pump will be diverted at BJR Statue towards SBI, Abids – Nampally Station Road. Motorists from Sujatha School Lane to the Khan Lateef Khan building must detour at Sujatha School Junction towards Nampally. Avoid the VV Statue, Khairatabad Flyover, Ambedkar Statue, Telugu Thalli, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, Abids Circle, AR Petrol Pump (Public Gardens), Nampally, KLK Building, Liberty, Himayath Nagar, Assembly, MJ Market, and Hyderguda.
RTC Buses from Ravindra Bharathi to BJR Statue must avoid the LB Stadium main gate and take a detour at AR Petrol Bunk (Public Gardens) towards Nampally.
