Police provide counseling services at boys’ hostels before New Year’s Eve

Ahead of New Year celebrations on December 31, the police in Punjagutta jurisdiction started counseling the boys living in hostels. The police officials divided into groups and visited several boys’ hostels in the area to provide counseling.

The Punjagutta police station’s CI Kranthi Kumar and SI Mahesh went to a boys hostel in Ameerpet and advised the boys to be cautious during New Year’s celebrations. They emphasized that most incidents occur involving boys who are intoxicated. SI Kranthi Kumar urged the boys not to cause trouble in public, which inconveniences others. He warned them about the severe consequences of drunk driving and creating a public nuisance.

SI Kranthi Kumar also drew attention to the grief experienced by parents and family members who have lost their loved ones in such incidents.
