Police Recover 220 Lost Mobile Phones in Kothagudem

The Kothagudem district police have successfully retrieved 220 lost mobile phones that were reported through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal. These phones were recovered from various locations under different police stations across the district.

On Wednesday, the Superintendent of Police (SP) handed over the recovered phones to their respective owners during a meeting held at his office. This provided much relief to the individuals who had lost their devices.

The SP urged people who lose their mobile phones to report the loss by registering all necessary details online on the CEIR portal. He explained that this system allows the concerned police stations to track and recover the stolen or lost phones efficiently.

As a gesture of appreciation, SP Rohith Raju presented certificates to the police officials and staff who played a key role in the recovery operation. Among those honored were DCRB DSP Mallaiah Swamy, IT cell in-charge CI Nagaraju Reddy, and IT cell team members Vijay, Rajesh, Naveen, Mahesh, and others, who worked diligently to achieve this success.
