    Police to investigate involvement of politicians in phone-tapping case

    Hyderabad city police Commissioner K Sreenivasa Reddy stated that the probing agencies are looking into the involvement of political leaders in the phone tapping case. He also mentioned that they are unable to locate former Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB) chief Prabhakar Rao.

    The Commissioner emphasized that there has been no Red Corner Notice issued for Prabhakar Rao and urged against spreading speculation that could hinder the investigation process. He assured that a Red Corner Notice will be issued at the appropriate time for the phone tapping case.

    Sreenivasa Reddy highlighted that the investigation will also focus on political leaders implicated in the case. He promised that more information about the phone tapping incident will be disclosed when the time is right. The Commissioner stressed that phone tapping is a serious offense that not only violates an individual’s privacy but also impacts society as a whole.
