Former Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who recently joined the Congress party, traveled to Andhra Pradesh to meet with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. It was rumored that they discussed the inclusion of Sharmila in the Congress party.
Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy clarified that he only met with officials from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), not Jagan himself. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss contract-related issues pertaining to his company.
He made it clear that there was no discussion about Sharmila with Jagan. Ponguleti also mentioned that Jagan is not interested in having the YCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) in Telangana. As for Sharmila’s inclusion in the Congress party, he expressed confidence that the party’s leaders will handle it.
