Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy urged engineers in the housing department to work with honesty and precision. He asked them to avoid mistakes and ensure that every task meets high standards.
Speaking at the NYAC after a training program for 390 newly trained Assistant Engineers, the minister also handed out promotion letters to employees from the registration department. He reminded everyone that they are accountable for their actions.
“If something goes wrong, we will hold the responsible people accountable,” he warned. He also shared a toll-free number where people can report any issues or wrongdoing in housing projects.
The minister stressed that homes must go only to those who truly need them. He said the department will strictly monitor the selection process to prevent misuse.
Modern technology will play a key role in building houses, he added. Engineers must pay close attention during every stage—from Phase-1 to Phase-4—and give accurate reports and suggestions.
“Every detail matters when choosing who gets a house. We won’t ignore even small complaints,” said Minister Reddy.
