Minister Ponnam Prabhakar responded to MP Bandi Sanjay’s personal attack on him by stating that the former BJP State president does not respect traditions and yet questions others. He mentioned that before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Sanjay even sold his wife’s mangalsutra to cover expenses.
Ponnam pointed out that as a politician, Sanjay should focus on discussing development and other political matters, instead of targeting him personally by making remarks about his mother. He criticized Sanjay’s yatra, saying it was more about gaining publicity and claimed that attacks were staged for attention.
The minister’s comments came after Sanjay’s alleged personal attacks, and he highlighted the need for a more constructive political debate rather than personal insults.
