Revanth Reddy, the newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Telangana, organized a public darbar on his first day in office. As a part of this, the Prajavani programme will be launched on Monday in all districts of the state to address public issues.
Under this programme, Collectors and MLAs from each district will accept applications from the public. Problems that require state-level intervention will be forwarded to relevant state officials.
In the past, there have been accusations that such programmes were used as bribes. People believe that their issues can only be resolved if officials from all departments at the district level are present. They also emphasize the importance of regular follow-up and timely solutions to the problems brought to the attention of authorities.
