Minister V Prashanth Reddy has criticized the Praja Darbar, calling it a “drama darbar.” He is demanding that the government release a white paper detailing the number of issues solved during the darbar. Prashanth Reddy made these comments during a press conference at Telangana Bhavan.

During a preparatory meeting for the Nizamabad Lok Sabha, Prashanth Reddy stated that activists were encouraging him to focus on the upcoming parliamentary elections, despite the defeat in the assembly elections. They expressed confidence in capturing the Nizamabad Parliament seat this time around.

Regarding the Assembly elections, Prashanth Reddy emphasized that it was not a victory for the Congress party but rather a defeat for BRS. He criticized the Congress rule for only lasting one month and accused them of failing to address the public’s problems. He called for a white paper to be released, revealing how many people have had their issues resolved during the public durbar this month.

Prashanth Reddy also responded to comments made by Revanth Reddy about bringing governance closer to the people. He claimed that people were being brought onto the streets in the name of receiving petitions, even from those who didn’t need assistance. Prashanth Reddy demanded that the government introduce a scheme to provide employment to auto drivers, with a monthly income of Rs 15,000.

Furthermore, Prashanth Reddy criticized BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao for his approach to decentralization. He accused Revanth of wanting to cancel everything done by KCR and bringing feudal ideas into the decentralization process.

MLC L Ramana added to the criticism of Revanth Reddy, stating that he had made six trips to Delhi within a month, which indicated his weakness as a chief minister.
