K. Jayadev, a senior journalist and film director, passed away on Monday night due to a heart attack. He was known for directing the film “Korangi Ketu,” which was produced by the National Film Development Corporation and screened at national and international film festivals.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Jayadev collaborated with Bharat Ratna C.N.R. Rao to create a documentary for Pai Films Division. He was the youngest son of the renowned director Jaralist KNT Shastri. Jayadev is survived by his wife Yashoda, son, and daughter.
