Hyderabad: Senior Vice President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Mallu Ravi criticized BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar for suggesting that Kollapur and Achampet Assembly segments should be labeled as the most sensitive areas in Telangana State. Ravi stated that Praveen Kumar was making baseless accusations without understanding the actual situation.

During a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Ravi mentioned that investigations were ongoing to determine the culprit behind the murder of BRS leader Sridhar Reddy. He criticized Praveen Kumar for blaming Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and the State government without sufficient evidence.

Ravi, who previously ran for Lok Sabha from Nagarkurnool on the Congress party ticket, recalled an incident when Praveen Kumar was the Superintendent of Police in Anantapur district and TDP leader Paritala Ravi was killed. He pointed out that no action was taken against Praveen Kumar at that time.

The Congress leader also disapproved of Praveen Kumar’s threat to destroy houses of Congress leaders in Kollapur using bulldozers. Ravi accused Praveen Kumar of being indirectly involved in the deaths of many Dalit and weaker section children during encounters in Karimnagar district.

Ravi alleged that Praveen Kumar had compromised the interests of Dalits by aligning with BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao and spreading falsehoods about Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
