The Haj Umrah Group Organisers’ Association of Hyderabad announced that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Minority Affairs in India have changed the allotment categories for pilgrims traveling through private tour operators for Haj-2024. The services and facilities remain the same, so pilgrims are advised to remain patient and peaceful during their journey.

President Alhaj Muhammad Abdul Razzaq Qamar stated that all 30,000-35,000 private pilgrims from India have been assigned to zone 5 in New Mina. Tour operators submitted their applications based on A, B, C, D categories a month ago, paying the necessary fees.

This time, the selection of the zone was determined by the Ministry of Minority Haj Affairs and the Saudi government, rather than the tour operators. Despite this change, private tour operators have committed to providing the promised accommodations, food, and other facilities as guaranteed by the Government of India. Pilgrims are urged to ignore any misleading information and focus on a satisfactory Haj experience.
