Text Size: 100%

The case of Telangana Irrigation Assistant Engineer (AE) Nikesh Kumar has taken a significant turn as investigators have made major discoveries. A large quantity of gold and platinum diamond ornaments, weighing about 2 kilograms, was found in lockers linked to Nikesh Kumar. These valuables were uncovered in two lockers registered under his name.

The investigation, however, revealed a deeper web of hidden assets. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) found that 16 additional lockers were not registered in Nikesh Kumar’s name. Instead, they were under the names of his friends and family members. This raises serious questions about the extent of the illegal wealth he may have accumulated.

The ACB is now working to trace the origins of the wealth and uncover all parties potentially involved. The probe aims to determine how the assets were acquired and whether others helped in hiding them. Public outrage has grown over the case, as it highlights concerns about corruption among government officials.
