    Residents of Kamalapuram village in Manuguru, which was affected by the recent Godavari flood, presented a petition to MLA Sri Payam at his office in Praja Bhavan. The MLA assured the villagers that he will work towards the development of the village and address the issues caused by the flood.

    MLA Sri Payam Venkateshwarlu promised to conduct a thorough survey of the area and relocate residents from low-lying areas to safer locations. He also mentioned plans to build Indiramma houses on behalf of the government to prevent future suffering due to floods. The initiative received support from public representatives, Congress party leaders, activists, and other participants.

    The meeting took place at the MLA Camp Office in Manuguru Mandal Center of Bhadradri Kothagudem District. Villagers expressed their concerns about the impact of the Godavari flood on their community, and MLA Sri Payam responded positively to their requests.
