Kothagudem police arrest seven-member gang involved in car theft

A gang of car thieves was caught by the Kothagudem 1 Town Police Station at the Kothagudem bus stand center. The suspicious car carrying seven individuals was inspected, leading to the discovery of their involvement in thefts.

The gang members, identified as VM Banjaru, Gopi, and Srinu from Penuballi, confessed to stealing autos and bikes from houses in Bhadrachalam, Palvancha, and Kottagudem. They lived in Vidyanagar Colony, Chunchupalli, and sold the stolen vehicles to divide the money among themselves.

The gang was caught by the police while trying to sell a stolen auto in Kottagudem. All seven suspects were arrested and taken to court for legal proceedings. It was revealed that they had a history of stealing cars and the police have prevented further criminal activities by the gang through their intervention.
