Prof. Deepak Garg is the new Vice-Chancellor of SR University. He is known for his work in artificial intelligence (AI) and has taught over one million students and faculty in AI. He plans to use AI technologies in all programs of study at the university, including agriculture, biotechnology, management, computer science, and engineering. The university is also hiring the best faculty talent from across the country and creating a world-class AI research center.
Starting this session, SR University is launching a BTech in AI program that guarantees international exposure to all enrolled students in some of the top 500 universities in the world. The university is receiving many queries from interested students and parents about the program.
Prof. Garg’s goal is to make SR University a model for private universities in the country by using innovative pedagogy, empowering faculty, and collaborating on applied research. He wants to graduate niche grade global citizens who can work on societal problems for better quality of life for future generations of the planet.
