Hyderabad: Starting October 28, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has expanded its digital services. Now, residents can handle property taxes and trade licenses directly from the GHMC’s official website. Previously, these services were only available at Meeseva centers.
This change is part of GHMC’s effort to improve digital governance and make it easier for citizens to access services from home.
Users can enter their PTIN, TIN, or VLTN and upload necessary documents like the sale deed. These submissions will then be reviewed by GHMC revenue officials for verification and approval.
The new online services include:
- Mutation of property and vacant land tax
- Blocking duplicate or invalid property tax identification numbers
- Blocking vacant land tax numbers
- Blocking trade license numbers for closed or duplicate trades
Existing online services still include self-assessment of property tax, updating mobile numbers, and correcting property owner information.
