    Activists of the Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Raj Sanghatan protested at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad because Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from his membership. The sanghatan’s State chairman Siddeswar chaired the programme, and former MP Meenakshi Natarajan, TPCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC secretary G. Chinna Reddy, former MP VH, former minister Prasad Kumar, and party leaders Kodanda Reddy, Rohin Reddy participated in the protest.

    During the protest, TPCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud said that people cried when Rahul Gandhi left his official residence due to his disqualification. He also said that the Gandhi family had sacrificed their assets for India’s freedom. The chairman of the Sanghatan Siddeswar alleged that the BJP was harassing Rahul Gandhi in every possible way because they were scared he was meeting people and growing in popularity.

    Former MP VH said that they were questioning whether there was democracy in India after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister. He alleged that the BJP leader failed to keep his promise of depositing ₹15 lakh of black money in the bank accounts of people after coming to power. VH called upon party leaders and workers to fight for Rahul Gandhi and highlight the injustice done to him in every village of the State.

    The All India chairperson of the Sanghatan Meenakshi Natarajan said that they would continue to expose the BJP until it was chased away from the country.
