Protest Staged by Asha Workers at Gangula’s Residence

Tensions arose on Tuesday morning at Minister Gangula Kamalakar’s house when Asha workers held a protest demanding regularization and fair wages. The workers, who have been on strike for a few days under CITU, also demanded job security and PF. When the minister was present at his house, the workers began their agitation, prompting the police to intervene. The workers were arrested and taken to the police station.
