Tension rose at Osmania University campus on Tuesday when DSC aspirants protested for the State government to delay the DSC teacher recruitment exam and release a larger DSC notification. The protest began late Monday and continued into Tuesday, with plans for a rally canceled after police detained some protesters. Around 20 DSC aspirants were held by OU police.

Protesters criticized the Congress party for not fulfilling their promise of 25,000 jobs made during the election. They urged the government to postpone the current DSC exam and issue a new notification immediately. Police deployed a large number of personnel to the campus, with East Zone DCP Giridhar monitoring the situation.
