Hyderabad: Students at Osmania University protested in front of the campus on Wednesday. They are demanding that the semester exams for undergraduate and postgraduate students, which are scheduled for the fourth week of July, be postponed.

The protesting students claim that classes were held on time but the professors did not complete the syllabus. They believe it is unfair to expect students to write exams when the syllabus has not been covered adequately. Normally, classes should be held for at least four months, but in this case, only 50 days of classes were conducted.

In previous years, exams were scheduled for August 20, allowing enough time for syllabus completion. However, this year the exams are being conducted without the syllabus being finished. Less than 50% of the syllabus has been covered, and some students also have to prepare for other exams in July and August. These students need additional time to study.

The students have submitted written complaints to university officials, but they have not received any response yet.
