    Hyderabad’s Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) and St. Francis UG and PG College for Women, located in Begumpet, Hyderabad, have formed a new partnership. This collaboration, part of PRSI’s Nalanda Forum initiative, was made official on June 30, 2025.

    The agreement aims to connect educational practices with industry needs by establishing the “PRSI-St Francis Student Forum” at the college. Dr. K Yadagiri, Secretary of PRSI’s Hyderabad Chapter, highlighted that this initiative will provide students with practical learning experiences and industry exposure in media, communication, and public relations.

    Prof. T. Uma Joseph, Principal of St. Francis College, emphasized that this partnership will better prepare students for professional careers, offering them firsthand experience in the dynamic field of media and public relations.

    The signing ceremony was attended by Sri Y. Babji, National Legal Advisor of PRSI; Sri Krishna Baji, Convener; and Dr. Fathima Raheem, Co-Convener of the Committee for PR Education of PRSI. Faculty members from the college’s Journalism and Mass Communication department were also present, including Sri K. Ravi Kumar (HOD), Sri P. Clement Babu, and Smt T. Suzan Spurthi.

    The agreement will be effective immediately and will launch student-focused initiatives over the next two academic years, 2025-26 and 2026-27.
