Senior BRS leader Nama Nageswara Rao, who is also the current MP, is aiming for a hat-trick victory in Khammam. He has contested four times in the MP elections and won twice. The elections for the Khammam Parliament constituency have been held 17 times so far, with Nama winning in 2009 and 2019. Nama is confident about winning again and setting a record with a hat-trick victory, with BRS chief KCR’s road show playing a major role in his success. According to Nama, people were disappointed with the Congress government’s false promises and are now in favor of the BRS.

In an exclusive interview with The Hans India, Nama addressed questions about his campaign progress and the support for BRS despite some leaders leaving the party. He highlighted the development in Khammam under the BRS rule and his achievements in the past five years, including addressing Telangana state problems in the Lok Sabha. Nama also mentioned the success of BRS road shows and the response from people, emphasizing the party’s dominance in the district.
