The IPL 2023 is coming to a close, and only one team has secured their spot in the next round. Some teams are on the brink of qualifying, while others have no chance. Delhi Capitals (DC) have already been eliminated and are just going through the motions. They will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their next match, who are still hoping for a miracle to make it to the next round.

PBKS are tied with three other teams at 12 points, but they still have two games left to play, which could bring their total to 14. They will face DC and then Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their final two matches. If they win both and other results go their way, they could qualify.

PBKS stopped DC in their last match, and they hope to do it again. DC’s batting has been a disaster throughout the tournament, and they are in poor form. However, anything can happen in a T20 match. PBKS will be buoyed by Prabhsimran Singh’s century in the last game and Harpreet Brar’s bowling performance.

Neither team has been consistent, but PBKS are still hanging in there. They need to win their next two matches to have a chance of qualifying. DC has nothing to lose, so they could cause an upset. PBKS must be careful not to underestimate them and stay focused on the task at hand.
