The BRS party’s Khammam parliament coordinator, Gundala Krishna, campaigned in Khammam on Thursday. He urged voters to elect the party’s Khammam Assembly candidate, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, for the development of the constituency. Krishna campaigned in several municipal divisions in the city.
During his campaign, Krishna highlighted the city’s development over the past ten years, which he compared to Hyderabad. He mentioned that around Rs 3,000 crore was spent on improving basic facilities in the city. He also mentioned specific projects like the modernization of the Gollapadu channel and the development of ten parks with a budget of Rs 100 crore. Additionally, he noted that the Telangana government allocated Rs 696 crore for the construction of RCC retaining walls to prevent floods along the Munneru stream.
Krishna also distributed copies of the BRS election manifesto to voters and explained the development achieved in Khammam city during the BRS regime.
