AICC leader Rahul Gandhi visited Hyderabad and promised to eliminate poverty in the country if his party, the INDIA bloc, wins the election. He mentioned plans to create 4.30 lakh jobs by August 15 and provide Rs 1 lakh funds to beneficiaries for buying essential goods.
Rahul criticized the Modi government for failing to generate jobs and accused them of favoring big businesses like Adani and Ambani through demonetization and GST. He pledged to provide youth with jobs in PSUs and private sector offices for one year, along with Rs 1 lakh in their bank accounts to kickstart the economy.
The Congress leader emphasized the importance of supporting farmers by offering loan waivers and ensuring they receive Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their crops. He also promised to recover money given to billionaires by the Modi government and redistribute it to the poor.
Rahul highlighted the NDA government’s support for businessmen like Adani and mentioned plans for a caste census to gather data on wealth distribution. He believed this would be a significant step towards reducing poverty in India.
