Rahul Gandhi, who was previously a member of parliament in Wayanad, Kerala, will be making his first visit to the region since being stripped of his office. Accompanied by his sister and Congress general secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, he will attend a public gathering and host a roadshow in the area. The siblings will also be attending a seminar and roadshow in Kalpetta during their stay. The event is expected to draw many influential figures, including Opposition Leader VD Satheesan and KPCC President K Sudhakaran.
