Hyderabad city police Commissioner C V Anand paid tribute to Raja Bahadur Venkata Ram Reddy on his 154th birth anniversary. The ceremony took place at Raja Bahadur Venkat Ram Reddy Educational Society in Narayanaguda. Raja Bahadur Venkata Ram Reddy served as the 14th Kotwal during the Nizam era and made significant contributions. He worked to abolish social evils and established educational institutions for the welfare of girls. Anand praised his foresight in creating the City Police Act 1938.

Anand also mentioned how the educational institutions established by Raja Bahadur Venkata Ram Reddy continue to benefit society. He shared that his own family benefited from studying in these institutions. Anand encouraged students to draw inspiration from Raja Bahadur Venkata Ram Reddy’s life and work hard to succeed.

During the ceremony, Anand recognized the outstanding performance of Raghavendra, an inspector in the IT cell of Hyderabad city, and K Ravinder, an inspector in the social media cell of Cyberabad. He presented them with gold medals and Rs 5000 cash each. The event was attended by society members and others.
