BJP leader Raja Singh, who represents the Goshamahal Assembly constituency in Hyderabad, is going to lead the Ram Navami Shobha Yatra. He has called for a volunteer meeting on Saturday prior to the yatra, which will start at 10 am on Wednesday, April 17 from Akashpuri Hanuman Temple in Dhoolpet.

Last year’s yatra happened on March 30, 2023, and saw tight security measures being implemented to ensure peace and safety. Around 1,500 policemen were deployed to oversee the procession, with police pickets set up at sensitive locations. Similar security arrangements are planned for this year’s yatra in Hyderabad.

In January, Raja Singh was appointed by the BJP as the in-charge of the Hyderabad parliamentary constituency.
