Rajender Rao accuses BJP of plotting to alter Constitution

Congress candidate Velichala Rajender Rao criticized the BJP for trying to change the Constitution by tricking the people. He spoke at a meeting with CPI workers in Karimnagar on Monday.

Rajender Rao emphasized the importance of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, describing it as a battle between the BJP’s dictatorial rule and the Congress’ vision of Rama Rajya. He praised the efforts of the Communists in the INDIA alliance to challenge the BJP’s influence.

CPI national secretary Narayana and State secretary Chada Venkata Reddy also questioned the BJP’s handling of corruption cases, contrasting the arrest of one individual with allegations of corruption in a major project. They called for action against those who misuse public funds.

Although the CPI did not field any candidates in Telangana, they urged their activists to work diligently to defeat the BJP. They called for strong support for Congress candidate Velichala Rajender Rao in the upcoming elections.
