Ramya Rao, a joint convenor for the TPCC campaign, opened the National Silk Expo 2025 at the Kalinga Cultural Hall in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. This event will last for seven days.
Jagdishwar Hastkala organized this exhibition, featuring a diverse range of handmade silk sarees, cotton garments, and handloom products from different parts of India. Rao pointed out that these events play a crucial role in connecting women with genuine, handcrafted fashion items.
Organizer Jayesh Kumar explained that the expo aims to support weavers by cutting out middlemen, offering pure silk and cotton products directly to consumers. The exhibition, promoting traditional craft and eco-friendly fashion, is open until 21st July, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
