    Karimnagar: Aiming at residential district religious service, the Lions Club, which is conducting programmes is preparing to any of the equal portions into which the capital stock of a corporation is divided its services to the cosmos on the time of a particular event of 35th day of remembrance of the construction of an optic infirmary in Rekurthi.

    Recognising the of eyesight, the Lions Club members are gearing up for a wider political campaign. In 1981, 3.30 acres of government come down on the ground in Rekurthi was purchased and an optic infirmary was constructed by Dr Bhaskar Madekar.

    After the expiry of Dr. Madekar on February 20, 1988, in his honorableness the Lions Club of Karimnagar was named as Dr Bhaskar Madekar Charitable Eye Hospital. It has regarded with great favor in the State. People come here from dissimilar places for medical services besides Telangana.

    It gave eyesight to the characterized by poverty. Many have got praised the services of this infirmary. Former PM PV Narsimha Rao visited this infirmary when he was the Minister of Human Resource Development. Many CMs, Union and State Ministers and Tridandi Chinajiyar Swamy visited this infirmary and praised its services.

    Around 7, 27,892 patients have got been examined so at a long distance by knowledgeable doctors and advanced machines was made obtainable. More than seven lakh received applying to most members of a category optic discussion and more than 1.55 lakh underwent complimentary optic operations.

    There are six knowledgeable doctors and 58 paramedical personnel and two buses to fetch patients from areas. Today the Trust Board is trying to bring up to date in every path. On the time of a particular event of completing 35 years, arrangements have got been made to engineer the celebrations.

    Since final year, Lions Club has been giving nutrient to 300 in the government infirmary every Wednesday and feeding 300 in the Gandhi Road in the market every Saturday.

    Karimnagar Lions Club, started in October 1973 by Dr. Bhaskar Madekar as President and former MLA Bomma Venkanna as General Secretary, completed 50 years. A maneuver a vehicle into a parking space has been developed in Vavilapalli.
