The consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya has made people in Hyderabad feel very religious. On this historic day, many people in the city offered free food to celebrate the inauguration of the Ram Mandir. They distributed dishes like khichdi, aalu puri, rice, and achar. Some market associations and social organizations also joined in by offering free community food.

A group of people from Begum Bazar went to Ayodhya and are currently offering free tea and coffee to the devotees. They will continue this service until January 31. In Hyderabad, the Sikhwal Brahman Samaj offered ‘Chappan Bhog’ in Begum Bazar and organized a Shobha Yatra.

The Gujrati Social Welfare Society set up a LED screen at Nizam College for live streaming of the ceremony. They also distributed food to hundreds of Gujrati families who gathered to watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi perform the consecration ceremony.

Imlibun Gau Seva Sadan and Gau Poojan and Deepotsav also provided community food. Additionally, 35 cooks from Telangana went to Ayodhya to offer their delicacies to the devotees.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust provided free food to around 25,000 devotees on this occasion. They have been offering free food since January 15 and will continue until mid-March. The food is being served for 45 days and various grocery items were brought from the city for this purpose.
