MLC T Jeevan Reddy spoke to the media in Karimnagar and discussed the issue of belt shops in the state. He mentioned that if these shops are removed, the government revenue will decrease by Rs 40,000 crore, but it will benefit the villagers economically. The previous government had made the Excise department a source of revenue, leading to alcohol addiction and ruined lives. Jeevan Reddy has written a letter to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy urging him to remove the belt shops immediately.

The people were tired of the previous government’s dictatorial regime and voted for the Congress, which prioritizes health and education. Women in the state are happy with the free bus travel that provides financial relief. The decision to increase Aarogyasri coverage to Rs.10 lakh is also commendable. The Congress government has implemented two guarantees and gained popular support since taking office.
