Congress Rajya Sabha Member Renuka Chowdhary criticized the BJP government for misusing investigation agencies and questioned why Delhi police came to Telangana without authority. She spoke at a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, calling out Prime Minister Narendra Modi for arresting Congress leaders in a video case involving Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Chowdhary challenged the Prime Minister to arrest Janata Dal (Secular) leader Prajwal Revanna, accused of sexual abuse, and criticized the government for not taking action. She also questioned Modi for giving a party ticket to a family member of someone accused of sexual harassment.
The Congress MP accused Modi of developing a grudge against Muslims and questioned his silence on China’s presence in Indian territory.
