During the Rath Yatra festival in Puri, the police have issued guidelines to control the use of drones. These guidelines will be strictly enforced from the day of Rath Yatra until Niladri Bije, which is when the festival ends. The police have noticed that many people use drones to take pictures and videos during the festival, but this can be dangerous if the drone operator is inexperienced. Some people have even been punished for breaking Drone Rules in the past.

The Puri Police issued the advisory on June 20th and it will be in effect until July 1st. This is to ensure the safety of the Jagannath temple, Gundicha temple, the deities’ chariots, and all the devotees.
