    Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has assured that the state government will protect the rights and interests of all religions. He emphasized that the government will not tolerate any actions or remarks that promote hatred towards other religions. People have the freedom to follow the faith of their choice, and promoting religious harmony remains a top priority, he stated.

    Speaking at the “Christmas Celebrations” held at LB Stadium on Saturday, the Chief Minister highlighted the significant contributions of the Christian community in building a progressive Telangana. He praised their efforts in providing free education and medical services to the underprivileged. In some instances, he noted, the quality of services offered by the community surpassed those provided by the government. Their active role in societal development was also acknowledged.

    The Chief Minister announced that the official process of allocating Indiramma houses to the needy will commence after the Sankranti festival. He added that the government is considering measures to ensure that poor Dalits and Dalit Christians benefit from these housing allocations. Revanth Reddy also assured that the Christian community would receive proper representation in the government. He urged the PCC president to ensure adequate representation for Christians in the party’s future activities.

    Additionally, the community has been requested to provide details of individuals willing to actively participate in party programs. These individuals will be given appropriate roles within the party. The Chief Minister also pledged that the state government would work towards ensuring the Christian community receives its fair share in welfare schemes and quota benefits.
